Monet Garden
From 1883 until his death in 1926, Monet settled in the village of Giverny, where he built a small house and a beautiful garden that served as the scene for his most famous works. Versailles
A castle and historic monument located in Versailles (Yvelines, France). It was the main residence of the kings of France Louis XIV, Louis XV and Louis XVI. The king, the court and the government resided there permanently from May 6, 1682 to October 6, 1789, with the exception of the years of the Regency from 1715 to 1723. Wanted by Louis XIV in order to glorify the French monarchy, the castle is the most important monument of his reign and one of the masterpieces of classical architecture. He exerted a great influence in Europe in the 18th and 19th centuries in the fields of architecture and decorative arts.

The Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte is the creation of three artists brought together by Nicolas Fouquet, Louis XIV's superintendent of finances: the gardener André Le Nôtre, the architect Louis Le Vau and the painter-decorator Charles Le Brun. Born of the fraternal genius of these three men, the Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte is a model whose majesty and balance will inspire the Château de Versailles and the whole of Europe for centuries. You can visit the stables and castle in the morning, have lunch at the Relais de l'Écureuil (no reservation required), and then walk through the gardens in the afternoon. 45 km from Paris. One hour by car .
